morbaneThank you for your nominations so far (see noms post)! We have some nominations we'd like more information on - please help us out so we can approve more things.
Alice In Wonderland - Lewis Carroll - with characters Alice, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and the Mad Hatter. We accepted Alice in Wonderland in 2017. However, after discussion, we would prefer not to approve this going forward, as it is a long work that seems closer to the genre of fantasy than fairy tale. Sorry, nominator - please change your nomination to something else by the 31st.
La Belle et la Bête | Beauty and the Beast (Fairy Tale) - there are several different versions, and Beauty often has more than one older sister. Nominator, which version do you want? Some that we've previously approved include: Joseph Jacobs' version; Jeanne-Marie LePrince de Beaumont version; Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve version.
Legends of the Wild Hunt - with characters Arawn, Gwynn ap Nudd, and King Herla. The Wild Hunt legends have many variations across cultures, and it looks like you're interested in specific stories - nominator, could you please point us to the specific tale or tales you want?
Sleeping Beauty (Fairy Tale) - there are several different versions. Nominator, which one do you want? We have already approved the Perrault version - do you want your nomination folded into that? Or are you interested in the Giambattista Basile version, or something else?
