Thank you for your nominations! Please help us sort them - we have some questions about nominations we've received so far.
QUERIES POST ONE
Alice In Wonderland - Lewis Carroll - the Jubjub Bird is nominated under its canonical, Jubjub (Hunting of the Snark). We will approve this as Jubjub (Alice in Wonderland) since the Jubjub is mentioned in Jabberwocky. Nominator, if you'd like a creator to refer to the Hunting of the Snark, you can suggest it to them as an optional extra, but please don't offer or request it unless you're also okay with sticking to Alice in Wonderland material.
Ancient Greek Religion & Lore - this is a broad label, currently including Chiron, Charicio, the Phoenix, and the Sphinx. Are these all found in a single text? Could you specify what source(s) you're interested in, please?
Japanese Archipelago Folk Religion & Lore - this is a broad label, currently including Bake-danuki, Bakeneko, Kitsune, and Tomoe Gozen. Are these all found in a single text? Could you specify what source you're interested in, please?
The Queen - Anna Wahlenberg - apologies; we may have rejected this by accident, but we can't find a public domain source for it. Are you able to help us find a source please?
The Selkie Bride (Folk Tale) - Since there's a wide variety of characters nominated for this tale, could you please confirm what version you're interested in? Our most recent source is a Scottish version: https://tracscotland.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/The-Selkie-Bride.pdf which does not include a farmer or other selkies. (We've also previously approved an Icelandic version. What did you have in mind?
