Summary
The idea of a setting swap is of interest ... but the original setting is very good as it is, too. I would be genuinely happy with fic about any of the characters, but have to admit to having a soft spot for the Robin/Marian romance, and for the often-flamboyant and witty Will Scarlet. However, I'd love to read about Marian interacting with Little John and Will or any of the other Merry Men, and how can you write a properly tragic story without the Prioiress?

A fairly short and less well-known canon. I've always been fascinated by where in the mouth the things come from - do they pop out of the throat? I love the Nights, though I prefer some of the latter translations such as Mahdi's.
I'd love to see whatever you can create for the Nights - is there a layer to peel back that would allow for a taste of the collection that pre-existed the collection as we currently know it?
What happened to Shahrzad? Did she bear Shahryar a son? Daughters? Did she believe in the Djinn that she told tales of? Did she practise magic, worship other gods? What did her world look like, and how did it feel to walk to her doom?

I love how this myth varies whilst remaining essentially the same across much of northern Europe, and how individual versions soborn local heroes and deities. I've written of one featuring Sir Francis Drake for example!
I nominated Gwynn ap Nudd this time, one of the versions of the myth that features the Fae. Other local myths that go with Gwynn so Nude include that the gateway to his underworld is in the Tor at Glastonbury - which is also one of the proposed locations of Avalon.
Tell me of a hunt and who they hunted; of what it feels like when you ride with the hunt. Of a feast at the court of Gwynn ap Nudd; does Arthur wait with him?
