If you realise you will not be able to fulfil your assignment, please press the default button on AO3. You don't need to give a reason. However, you are not guaranteed a gift after you have defaulted. If you default after April 20 (11:59pm CDT) or do not post your story by the deadline, you cannot sign up in 2026.
