We have some new questions and one previous question! Please help us out with these ambiguities. Nominations end on January 31st (see noms post) and the tag set is looking great already.

La Barbe bleue | Bluebeard - Charles Perrault - We've approved this fandom, but we're a little stuck on the character "Bluebeard's Previous Wife (Not Last)". Nominator, could you please go into a bit more detail about what you were thinking?

콩쥐 팥쥐 | Kongjwi and Patjwi | Korean Cinderella (Korean Folktale) - we can't seem to find a full source for this online (just summaries that talk about how it is different from Perrault etc). Nominator, could you help us with that, please? Thank you for including multiple versions of the title and formatting them neatly.

The Fairy and the Woodcutter (Korean Folktale) - We'd also appreciate help with a source for this one, please! We've previously had a related story, The Heavenly Maiden and the Woodcutter, in case you are interested in that version.

Little Red Riding Hood (Fairy Tale) - Nominator, which version are you interested in, please? We've previously had the Perrault version and the Brothers Grimm version, for example.

Hi, I just peeped at the tagset and it looks like Gwynn ap Nudd and Arawn have been folded in with King Herla (De nugis Curialium - Walter Map) rather than in with the Mabinogion

(Apologies if that was intentional or unavoidable; I'm not very familiar with how these things really work)

my guess (not nominator) on Bluebeard's wife is "one of Bluebeard's wives, but not Bluebeard's last wife". which is to say, one of the ones he killed.

Yes, that was my thought too. One he killed, but not the first one either, so she could discover other corpses.

I nominated La Barbe bleue and that particular character, I was thinking of a wife prior to the current wife but not the immediate wife before her (if that makes sense). Like, of 12 wives, Wife #12 is the MC and Wife #5 (not Wife #11) is in the story.

Edit, however due to a misunderstanding about your story (we thought it was about finding a child in bamboo and have since found out it's about a woodcutter in love) I've managed to find the story you probably intended and approved it as is. Sorry for the confusion.
