How much leeway should we give on the letters? You've been reminding us pretty well through the process, and for assignments with NO letter and NO optional details in the sign up, how long should we wait before letting our imagination run wild?

If there's no details and no letter, just go for it. You can't get blood from a stone.

As for letters that are still a placeholder, contact us, we'll try to contact the author for you and get back to you.
