12 Dancing Princesses (Fairy Tale)
We already have the Grimm version in the tag set. The new nomination includes a Cobbler's Apprentice, the King, the Princes, and the dancing Princesses. It's been suggested that this is the Hesse version, but we can't find the full text of that version online, only mentions of it. Nominator, please help us find a full and legal source for the version you mean, or suggest another version.
La Belle et la Bête | Beauty and the Beast (Fairy Tale)
We already have the Joseph Jacobs version in the tag set. New nominator, which version did you want? The title language doesn't narrow it down - there is more than one French version of the story extant. Does one of these sources work?
Salomé - Oscar Wilde
Although the religion and lore content fits the themes of the exchange, this is a play rather than a story. Please choose something else!
General note
In some cases, we've approved fairy tale titles with a "generic" name (especially if they're canon AO3 tags) because there seems to be a main source with that title - for example, Rotkäppchen | Little Red Riding Hood, where we understand you mean the Grimm brothers version, or ; The Clever Lass (Fairy Tale) (which seems to be the Joseph Jacobs story. If you have a specific version in mind, please make that clear when nominating - the version we find for a source may not be the one you intended.
Nominations close on the 3rd! See countdown.
