Hello! We hope everyone is enjoying their ideas for their assignment and (optionally) treats.
Works are due at 11:59pm CDT, Sunday May 8.
Betas
Betas are not required for this exchange, but they can be a great asset to your story. A beta can help find bits you missed, tease out the strengths of a story, or offer insights on improvement.
Even if you aren't writing in this exchange, betaing for others is a great way to participate and have fun! Your valuable service is immensely appreciated.
If you want to help out as a beta, please reply in a comment to this post. The following information may be helpful:
-a name (especially if you're signed up - give your AO3 name to ensure you aren't asked to beta your own gift)
-how to contact you
-what canons you know, or are willing to familiarise yourself with (see this year's sources spreadsheet and the sign-up summary showing which stories were requested).
-if there is anything you can't beta (by length, content, timing, etc)
-what kind of beta services you offer
Bonus:
-any specific expertise you can offer advice on
-document formats you prefer
If you do not want to offer your contact details on this post for privacy reasons, you can use the moderators as a go-between. Just make sure you're mentioning that in your comment *and* send us the contact info so we can actually contact you. Thank you! Anonymous comments are on, but you need to give contact details - either so we can unscreen your comment directly, or so mods know how to contact you and what info is relevant to re-post.

Date: 2022-04-18 08:21 am (UTC)I can do spelling and proofreading edits, some Latin, and general knowledge of the Perrault and Grimm fairy tales, if anyone needs a beta. Reply to this comment if you'd like to get in touch?

Date: 2022-04-18 11:40 pm (UTC)In the spirit of anonymity for the people needing betas, it would be ideal if you had an email they could contact you with instead of leaving a comment (this identifies 'em). If you don't wanna put your email up (perfectly fine) mods are happy to act as a go-between for you.
